Surrounded by dense forest, but centered in a large, bright meadow, the village still shows a few signs that it had once been poor, perhaps within the last four years. But repairs have been made, small fields are growing in, bringing plenty to Harvest Season. Livestock and horses are fat and healthy, people cheerful and relaxed, a great change from what they used to be; frightened, untrusting, worn people, taxed to the point of poverty. Now you are greeted with a smile, though Lycans might still get a wary, uneasy look; old habits die hard when it comes to this race.
The Silver Stag Tavern is well kept, boisterous, though the Tavern Keeper rules this establishment with an iron fist. Across from the Tavern stands The Silver Doe Inn and Stables. The newly painted sign swinging from the wooden arm above the door depicts a silver doe, captured in mid-leap. The artistry is of fine work. Beds here are comfortable, food is served hot and is never lacking in good taste. The Inn?s accommodations for a traveler?s trusty steed are also well kept, the animals sure to get a good grooming and feed, with plenty of water and comfortable stalls.
The forest surrounding the village is dense, dark in comparison to the bright, happy place it protects. Wildlife is numerous, and at night, many howls can be heard, giving the reason for the fences built high and tight around the livestock. The roads in and out are well kept, the dirt tightly packed from years upon years of foot travel, wagons rolling over it?s path, and hooves leaving their mark.
For about ten miles in all directions, the land is flat under the trees, the ground covered in thick, springy moss and dark green grasses, with an herb or flower growing here and there, adding it?s scent or spark of color during spring. Summer sees a more vibrant variation of green, and Autumn, a surprising lack of fall color, due to the predominance of evergreen trees, with only a few maples or alders interspersed here and there, usually lining a stream or river. Winter sees snow, deep save for where the trees? boughs protect it.
However, to the west end of those ten miles, the land becomes hilly, the hills becoming the mountain sides of Farron Mountain Range. To the east, the flat land slopes faintly, the forest continuing on for another hundred miles before turning to plains land.
To the North, the forest spans another twenty miles before abruptly dropping off the cliff giving a beautiful view of the land below and beyond, and if you?re lucky, it might just be clear enough to see the faintest, barest glimmer of what is said to be the ocean. To the south, another swathe of Plainsland connects with the eastern plains.
The NPCs
Tavern Keeper, Barlas Aranesus: Barlas is a burly, sandy haired man, standing six feet, and sporting dark grey eyes that snap with amusement. His booming voice is lowered to tender tones when speaking to his beloved wife, Meara. He lends a kind word just as easily as a toss out the door if you get to rowdy in the Tavern.
Tavern Keeper?s Wife, Meara Aranesus: Meara is a petite woman in her early mid twenties, bearing thick, lustrous nut brown hair in heavy waves to the small of her back, though she prefers keeping it up in a fetching loose bun. Warm, golden brown eyes sparkle merrily as she passes out drinks, dodging deftly out of reach of grabbing hands. She stands a diminutive five feet, but makes up for her size with just as much of an iron rule as her towering husband.
Innkeeper, Kraedis Talon: Kreadis, more commonly called ?Talon? is a retired veteran warrior from Axelander?s army. When Axelander Fell in the Great Battle, Talon was released by the Elven Kingdom after he recovered from his wounds. His initial hate for the Elven race was dampened by the kindness shown by the Elven Kingdom, and he welcomes the Race into his Inn with open arms and good wishes. Standing a strapping six feet, two inches, he is above the average height for the men of his race, and it made him quite the attraction for the women while he was a soldier. Gentle green eyes peer out from a strong face, with a long scar curving over his left cheek. His forehead is hidden behind copious strands of thick black hair, messy upon his head and curling to the midpoint of his shoulder blades. He has no wife, making him a target for many women?s glances.
Stableboy, Sanair Whispersong: This young boy is of lanky build and Elven blood. Found wandering as an Orphan after one of the raiding parties sent by The Mad King set upon his village, killing many, including her parents, he swiftly showed his affinity for working with horses, and after the Great Battle, the Innkeeper of Silverwood, then an unemployed, retired soldier looking for a place to settle, adopted the orphan as his own, and once settled, gave him the job as stable boy. Tall, and in his teens by human standards, he sports long black hair, and large emerald eyes. Silent, his surname of Whispersong is well put, and he is generally called ?Whisper?.

Also, there is no set plot for now. It seems that when I set a plot, my roleplays die.
